We decided to give the Traveler Restaurant a try for dinner tonight. Our daughter had lunch here a couple months ago with friends and they all enjoyed their sandwiches. Our meal tonight however was awful. My husband ordered a BLT burger. It was just a low quality frozen burger patty. My daughter and I each ordered the "wicked good grilled cheese" which was anything but good. The bread, cheese, tomato and bacon were all fine.

I stopped to get a coffee to go and ended up getting a grilled blueberry muffin to go with it. The muffin was excellent! Coffee was good too. If you live in or travel through Connecticut, the Traveler Restaurant in Union CT is a must visit for a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere. It' s a little confusing for me to grasp since it has a service restaurant instead of a cafe, and the kitchen is in the middle of the store.
