Gay fiction books barnes and noble
Gay Love, Romance & Relationships, LGBT Fiction, Books | Barnes & Noble®With the push for diversity in literature and media still going as strong as ever perhaps even stronger than ever , it seems that publishers have finally started to seriously answer the call. The list for May through June is even longer! Or so it feels. Of particular interest to me are books that feature protagonists who identify as part of the gorgeous rainbow spectrum that is the LGBTQ community. It is, in short, going to be a blissful year of reading for book-loving queers and queer-loving readers. Fortunately for everyone, there are several great places to start looking for all this good queer content. Below are five of said publishers.

Arceneaux has covered issues related to sexuality, religion, and race for the Guardian, among many other publications. His reflections on institutionalized racism, classism, homophobia, and his personal journey in the midst of these barriers are vital because all too often are the least among us left out of the conversation. And the compassion he gives to those who have both loved and harmed him speak to his amazing spirit — a spirit that leaps off of the page. We need now more than ever. In addition to writing the blog bitches gotta eat , Irby is the author of two critically acclaimed essay collections, Meaty and We Are Never Meeting in Real Life and if you haven't read them yet, you've gotta add them to your list. She's such a breath of fresh air: funny, curious, likable, and her story of trying to find herself and reconcile all of her parts as she heads to Portland in search of a progressive community is super relatable. This is a magical book.
